Investing in their future

At the No. 299 September sale my neighbor bought 

this beautiful tall cabinet. 

She didn't buy it for herself or her house but rather for her daughter's college apartment.  Some may read this and say "what the heck?"

But I see this as investing in her future because when I look at a piece like this I see infinite possibilities!

This piece will act as her "wardrobe" in what is to be a very small bedroom in her apartment off campus next year.  Perfect and so stylish!

But really what I love thinking about most is how this piece will go on to be used in her life.

The obvious thoughts are dining room (is was originally made as a china hutch), hallway, living room but I would love to see this in a little boy or girls room holding the first born's silver rattles and gifted trinkets 

OR 

in a large master bathroom holding fluffy white towels 

OR 

in a pretty kitchen off to the side showing off glassware or colorful spines of cookbooks.
