After hosting a gallery wall workshop here at the store last month I was tickled to see the Habitually Chic blog post of the newly opened J. Crew store in Paris.And then I was even more awed by the marble (or so I think that is what it is) check out counter.

Although many feel chevron is passé clearly the French do not!  

When you pair the modern lines of this size-able piece with the subtle motion in the marble well, for me it's tres magnifique!

To this I say MERCI!

But truthfully they had me at STRIPES.
